Carl Balog, M.D., DABPM

Dr. Balog's mission is to deliver the highest quality care to patients using the latest state-of-the-art equipment and to maintain direct quality control of the entire treatment process. He is uniquely qualified to provide patients with the latest advancements in pain diagnosis and treatment tailored to individual needs. Dr. Balog is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine.
Dr. Balog completed his undergraduate education at Williams College with a B.A. in Art History. He attended Semmelweis University School of Medicine in Budapest, Hungary, named after the first physician to apply statistics in a clinical application in order to prove a medical theory. He later obtained his residency training in Internal Medicine at Greenwich Hospital, a Yale University affiliate hospital, then went on to study at the University of California, San Francisco Department of Anesthesiology at Moffit-Long Hospital and San Francisco General. Dr. Balog is one of a few select physicians in the North America with his caliber of education, experience and training.
